The Austrian Speed Folk Rock Band -PADDY MURPHY- has already been
touring successfully across Europe for 3 years.
In the winter of 2012 they finally managed to produce the long desired
debut album „Dog’s Dinner“.
In this album folk and rock musicians merge to a true brew made of Irish
Speed Power Folk and Celtic Folk Rock.
Songs about the „emerald isle“, women and whiskey, the struggle for
liberty, Irish rebels, seamen and yearning for remoteness fill the album.
Fiddle, banjo, mandolin, acoustic and electric guitars, drums and bass
define the sound.
Traditional Irish songs and tunes and the band’s own compositions, spiced
with chili and pepper transform into gorgeous songs to sing along.
The album was produced by Reinhard Bux Brunner, himself having been
active in the music scene for more than 25 years.
The whole release comes up as the Austrian answer to „Flogging Molly“.
The band’s joy of playing is infectious and longs for more.
You will be enticed to „Shake yer trotters and dance to your partner“!
