"Explorations Beyond the Borders" is the debut release of the Austrian-Indian duo Rahul Wadhwani and Manfred Paul Weinberger. This musician friendship began with a chance meeting in Pune, India, in 2014. In 2018, they toured Indian jazz clubs in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and New Delhi, experimenting in different constellations. With the snapshot "Explorations Beyond the Borders", the shared experiences are artfully reflected. This CD production with 10 pieces is characterised by original works by the two musicians. Jazz standards, specially arranged for the duo sound, are also part of the music.
