Formed in 2004 to do the only thing in this universe worth doin’, namely praising the lord of laziness, this band from Rockcity Linz, Austria knows one thing best: to play music, which makes you stand up, twist and shout, get naked, jump on the table and finally realizing that your boss’ office just ain’t a good place for listening to music. Be prepared for speed-rock’n’roll in the vein of Deep Purple, jammed with Adam West and spiced with AC/DC-feeling, thundering drums, a heavy 4-string and two licking 6-strings. In summer 2005 they recorded their first Single “Baby Jane / Run with the Devil” in the Luger Studios, Steyregg near Linz. 2007 “The Jimmy Hofer Band” is proud to release their first LP called “ALPHATIER”.
